Started in 1997 by Don Antropos, the Quote of the Month contest commemorates memorable remarks in two categories: atheist and theist. Regulars of the newsgroup nominate remarks based on insightfulness, strangeness, or just plain humor. The Quotemeister collects the nominations and, once a month, calls for a vote. The winning remarks in the two categories as well as the nominations for each month the contest was held are archived here.
